Intelligolf on my Treo 755p with BT GPS Companion
Today I did a trial run of Intelligolf on my new Treo 755p, with a companion OnCourse GB737 Bluetooth GPS receiver. Here's the Scorecard.
The GPS feature worked pretty well, including capturing shot distances (on the shots that I decided were worth measuring!). It does seem to lock up pretty regularly for about 30 seconds when you hit the "Stop" button to indicate where your ball stopped. It recovers eventually after the lockup (I just put it down and hit my next shot when it happened!). I'll have to keep experimenting to see if there's an exact sequence that leads to it.
